We believe it is critical of any business to define who their ideal customer is. We talked more at length about this is an article we titled “Where do I start in marketing my construction business.” If you want to know more about how this applies to your business, go back and read that article. In this article we are going to talk about OUR ideal customer.
Over the years we have been able to whittle this description down to what it is today. We are sure it will continue to change and evolve as time goes on
What we have found so a the following
Our ideal user is a small to medium sized residential construction company. We define small to medium sized as any business that does less than $5 million in top line revenue per year. These businesses have at least one crew and they have a good cache of their own tools and equipment. Some of this equipment sits idle a good portion of the time. They also find that they have to rent items they don’t own for a few projects throughout the year.
Our users would prefer to save 20% to 50% on rental rates if it meant renting from a private owner instead of a traditional rental shop. Clink users are open to trying new ways of doing things.
Some beliefs our users share
CLINK’s ideal users believe in making connections with others in the industry. They believe in maximizing an asset instead of it sitting idle. They believe in leaving things better than they found them. CLINK users believe in quality.
