If you’re in the market for a new skid steer the John Deere 325g is going to be the middle of the road price option. In general you can expect to spend around $88k on this unit. We have found the 325g cab unit going for $87,899. You can find the open cab unit for about $5k less at $82,900. Additional options of course will bump that price up or down. Prices will also fluctuate depending on what part of the country you’re in and specific dealer fees and such.

When comparing different manufactures of skid steers, you are going to get what you pay for. In general, the more you pay, the more you’re going to get. The John Deere 325 falls right in the middle of other skid steers we have looked at. The price, lift capacity and hydraulic flow all fall right smack in the middle compared to the Bobcat, Cat, Kubota, JCB equivalents.
